Mark Davis

Mark Davis was selected on February 4th, 2015 by RSL Head Coach Jeff Gin as Assistant coach for Real Salt Lake Women's team, a team hoping to become the 10th NWSL franchise.
He took over as the Head coach of the BYU-Hawaii Men's Team in 2013 after serving as co-head coach in 2012. In addition to the men's squad The BYU-Hawaii athletic department, announced Davis as head coach of the women's soccer team, effective Nov. 18, 2013.
Davis is from West Jordan, Utah and graduated from BYU-Hawaii in 2011. He received his master's degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University Irvine in February of 2014.
Before his tenure the BYU-Hawaii men's soccer program had a .413 (42-60-2) overall winning percentage with a .420 (33-46-2) percentage in conference play. His hard work has helped turn around the program as he has led the Seasiders to a .609 (15-8-9) overall winning percentage and a .740 (15-3-7) winning percentage in the PacWest, including back-to-back winning seasons for the first time in school history.
Davis led the men's team to its best season in school history in his first full season as head coach with a record of 9-3-4 overall and 7-2-3 in the PacWest. BYU-Hawaii finished fourth in the conference, narrowly missing out on at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. He was named PacWest coach of the year after the 2013 campaign.
Prior to his time at BYU-Hawaii, Davis played at Iowa Western College where, as team captain, he led the team to a conference championship in the regular season in 2009.
He played with several clubs including Utah Football Club and the Utah Rangers, winning a State Cup Championship in the U-18 age group in 2005 with the Rangers. He also played in the Utah State Olympic Development Program (ODP) for four years.
